		Anna grew up in rural Suffolk, leaving to study for a Fine Arts degree at Wimbledon School of Art. She spent the next two years working for British Airways as a stewardess followed by nine months in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, helping to decorate a palace. Returning to London, she was offered a job with London Weekend Television as a set designer and worked for nine years on a range of programmes that included Dempsey and Makepeace, The Charmer and Poirot. After her second daughter was born she became a full time mother, returning to live in Suffolk. She is married to a TV director and is a keen Ipswich Town Football supporter.
